The neurologist I saw on 8/1 diagnosed the painful tingling in my right hand as carpal tunnel syndrome. I then saw a surgeon, who diagnosed me with severe carpal tunnel in my right hand, (I'm right-handed), and moderate carpal tunnel in my left hand. She scheduled me for surgery on my right hand on 9/30, which was Thursday.
This was the quickest and easiest surgery I've ever had. It only took 2 hours from the time I signed in to the time I left to go home.
The hardest part is not using my right hand which I'm totally failing at!
